My key takeaway is to be cautious and spend time empathizing with people and mapping out user flows since this is critical to the integrity of a usable app or website. This project was a great opportunity for me to understand the fundamentals of UX design. As a designer, it is our responsibility to ensure that all design decisions benefit our users, while simultaneously keeping the business model in mind to ensure product success. I learned from this case study not to allow my own biases and preconceptions to influence my design approach. ![]() Brainstorming ideas and exchanging thoughts with teammates is a fantastic experience.ĭesigners’ jobs are no longer limited to designing an app and asking developers to build it instead, we need to maintain open lines of communication with the team, ensuring that they understand our decisions and our design so that they, too, can give it their all. When working as a team, you will receive a lot of constructive feedback, especially when developing solutions. This was my first time working with a development team, thus it was a novel and exciting experience for me. All design decisions may be assessed and reevaluated using these personas, keeping the user and their perspective in mind. They would be crucial to the rest of the design process. ![]() ![]() I constructed these proto-personas, or names, based on the research findings from the user interview. Users want to manage and keep track of their loved ones’ schedules. Users are looking for the best-acclaimed hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics in their vicinity. Users want their devices or apps to be simple to use. Users prefer to keep track of their medication regimens or appointments. The key findings of these one-on-one interviews were: I gathered information through one-on-one interviews in order to learn more about people and the issues they confront. The purpose of this study was to gain a better understanding of individuals and their needs, as well as to put them at the center of our design process and product. My research began with a series of inquiries directed at a variety of people in order to have a better understanding of their issues and demands in remembering their routines. I employed a range of research strategies to acquire data and incorporate the findings into my app design at various stages of the process. I began my project with a user-centric approach, emphasizing the overall user experience. Main GoalĬreate a basic, easy-to-use app so that users don’t forget their medicine schedules, can easily discover pharmacies and clinics near them, and can be directed through the app by their loved ones if necessary. People need a way to remember to take their prescriptions without having to learn how to use sophisticated programs. Some people find it difficult to learn new apps in this ever-expanding digital environment, and people nowadays tend to forget things more easily, such as taking their prescriptions. Its parental feature distinguishes it from other apps on the market, allowing you to keep track of and remotely assist your loved ones who find it difficult to utilize such an app with their reminders. You may also keep track of your appointments. Remedi is a medicine reminder app designed for people who frequently forget to take their medications. It took 4 weeks to finish this design session. The app provides features such as prescription and appointment reminders, as well as a parental control function. The research and decisions I made when designing this medication reminder app are documented in this UI/UX case study. ![]() Because she can’t use a smartphone or an application right now, my sister or I would utilize the parental option to take care of her reminders. And it’s not only me that needs it my grandmother does as well. I have to tell you, I can’t remember things, and I just need something like this, a reminder application that is simple to use and appealing to the eye to help me remember these medications. This project, this idea, was something I could relate to because I occasionally have to take medication and, frankly, I forget about them. ![]()
